#The Ruby in the Smoke, part 1 of the Sally Lockhart trilogy by Phillip Pullman-finished 3-10-04
i finished it later that night. it's a short book, but i did enjoy it. i should recommend it to caroline; this is the sort of story and setting she'd like. on another book note, i see they did turn Gregory Maguire's Wicked: The Life and Time of the Wicked Witch of the West into a broadway musical. i had heard plans of it last year...or was it the year before...i forget which. i've read the book before i started this blog and quite enjoyed it. i wonder about a musical, though. guess i'll wait and see it when it goes on tour before i make a judgement. |
