A Treasury of Royal Scandals, The Shocking True Stories of History's Wickedest, Weirdest, Most Wanton Kings, Queens, Tsars, Popes and Emperors by Michael Farquhar-started 9-30-02

Lirael was a good read. Nix had to make into 2 seperate books. the third book will be Abhorsen, which is set for a feburary 2003 release. i can't wait. 8^)
definately going to have to find Sabriel in hardcover. these are books worth keeping and rereading.

i had a business trip to texarkana (5-6 hours away) and i took The Book of Three to read while i had my dinners. alas, it was a good read but too short and now supper was upon me and i had nothing to occupy my eyes as i ate alone.
"you ninny," i thought, "why didn't you pack an extra book?"
so i found a bookstore
it took me forever to decide upon a book, for i was looking for the next book in The Chronicles of Prydain but they one had another copy of The Book of Three<. ;_;
so i was looking around the kids fiction section, seeing if there was anything good to read that i had overlooked or missed in my youth. a young girl started a conversation with me about her favorite books, harry potter and jimmy neutron. we discussed which books for a quick moment. then i continued my search in another area of the store. there i found The Treasury of Royal Scandals. why did i pick up this book, you ask? number one it looked like a good quick read. two, it excluded modern day royals (thank god! last thing i want to read is about them,) claiming they couldn't hold a scandal compared to their forebearers and three, i do enjoy history, especially a juicy one like this.

now, all i need to do is find the rest of The Chronicles of Prydain. i want to find out what happens. i read The Black Cauldron and The High King back in high school but i couldn't find the other books and i don't remember too much about the books. that is a sure sign that a book needs to be reread.
