since i couldn't finish The Dark is Rising and i'm not able to get it back until the weekend after next, i'm reading some other stuff and will come back to it.

The Bronze Kinganother book that has been re-read. i barely remembered it from high school but i do remember liking it.
after the quick read, i can now confirm that i still like it. 8^) and i just discovered that it too, is part of a series of books, the Sorcery Hall Series.
i got find the other two books now.

hee hee! i got jo hooked on Sabriel and now she's reading the sequel. 8^)P
